About Us
Doug Robertson has been serving customers in the Albany township region of Berks county since 1978. When Doug was a young boy he thoroughly enjoyed watching a "loader-digger" building the pond at the family farm. It was then that he fell in love with the idea of big yellow machines playing in the dirt. As a young adult he purchased a used backhoe and worked on construction crews during the day while trying his hand at digging jobs in the evening. Soon enough it was time to go to all digging, all the time.
Today Doug Robertson Enterprises has become the go-to excavation crew for many of the area's contractors, farmers and homeowners. Doug has never lost his enthusiasm for playing in the dirt with big yellow toys, and his love of the work shines through every time.
